“丁寅”萌芽于2007年,历经10年沉淀与打磨,2018年正式成立于成都这座交织着烟火气与先锋基因的城市,品牌依托东方传统文化延伸的想象空间,创新的将古法蜡染、泥染、拓染、草木染等民间传统工艺融入现代鞋履制作,摒弃工业化生产的冰冷感,用匠人的手掌温度与天然染色的呼吸感,在每一件产品中雕刻时间与自然的痕迹。

取perpetual motion machine(永动机)前两个音节,呼应品牌中文名“饮水局”(源自风水上的潜龙饮水局),寓意永续运转的创造力。

品牌故事: 染进骨血的自然基因

工业流水线的荧光白炽灯下,per mo ma的诞生始于一次“染色事故”——创始人在四川古村偶遇暴雨,挎包里的山核桃皮被雨水浸泡,竟将亚麻围巾染出琥珀色斑纹。村中阿婆笑道:“草木想说话时,颜色就是它们的舌头”。

这句话犹如种子般扎根,团队走遍西南秘境,向蓝靛瑶族学发酵染缸的呼吸节奏,在岭南水乡记录薯莨与河泥的千年“锈色契约”,甚至发现傣族用酸角汁固色的秘技。

2022年秋,当第一双用27种野花拓染的麻鞋成型时,鞋面上摇曳的波斯菊仿佛仍在生长——这便是per mo ma的使命:让鞋子成为穿在脚上的植物标本馆。

Born in 2007, Ding Yin spent a decade in incubation and refinement before officially establishing in Chengdu in 2018—a city where everyday vibrancy meets avant-garde spirit. Rooted in the imaginative space of Eastern traditional culture, the brand innovatively integrates folk crafts such as ancient wax dyeing, mud dyeing, rubbing dyeing, and plant dyeing into modern footwear production. By rejecting the coldness of industrialization, we carve the traces of time and nature into every product, using the warmth of the artisan's hand and the breathability of natural dyes.

Ding Yin reconstructs the essential standard of a pair of handmade shoes using Eastern wisdom.
We believe durability, comfort, and original design are not marketing gimmicks, but the fundamental baseline a shoe should possess. The Ding Yin brand establishes this baseline upon the wisdom of Eastern creation—materials derived from nature, craftsmanship defined by ultimate focus, and a design philosophy of balance and harmony.

Derived from the first two syllables of "perpetual motion machine," echoing the Chinese name "Yin Shui Ju" (Dragon Drinking Water formation in Feng Shui), symbolizing perpetual creative energy.

Using Plants as Ink, Borrowing Color from the Earth

Brand Story: The Natural Gene Dyed into Our Bones
Beneath the fluorescent lights of an industrial assembly line, per mo ma was born from a "dyeing accident"—the founder encountered a heavy rain in a Sichuan village; the walnut husks in his bag soaked by the rainwater dyed his linen scarf with amber patterns. An old village woman laughed, "When plants want to speak, color is their tongue."
This sentence took root like a seed. The team traveled across the secret corners of Southwest China, learning the breathing rhythm of fermenting dye vats from the Blue Indigo Yao people, recording the millennium "rust-colored covenant" between Dioscorea and river mud in the water towns of Guangdong, and even discovering the secret technique of using tamarind juice for color fixation among the Dai people.
In the autumn of 2022, when the first pair of hemp shoes dyed with 27 wildflowers was completed, the cosmos flowers swaying on the shoe surface seemed to still be growing—this is the mission of per mo ma: to make shoes into a wearable herbarium.
