当现代人还蜷缩在都市的石头森林中，  

天山以北，哈萨克族人却正四季流转逐水草而居，  过着几近原始的游牧生活。  

这个纵马牧羊的民族，在草原之上以毡房为家，  以各类精美绝伦的羊毛擀毡制品为日常，  

一代代遵循着传统、缓慢而自然生长的生活。  

Far from the urban sprawl of concrete and steel,

north of the Tian Shan the Kazakhs lead an almost primal existence,

in tune with the changing seasons and sustained

by the land'swater and grass.

Herding sheep on horseback they find solace within

the warm embrace of thef fell yurts,

where exquisite felt creations enrich theii daily lives

AcrOss generations,the people patiently embrace a life

in accord with the rhythms of nature

古老的羊毛擀毡技艺是哈萨克人在游牧生活中必不可少之所长，  

他们将轻飘无状的羊毛，铺至芨芨草席上，  

用沸水浇透，反复滚擀，压缩数几个小时，  

让一根根羊毛心甘情愿紧密连接，纠缠成块，  

这样缓慢制成的擀毡制品，密实耐用，可传承至几代人。 

The ancient craft of felting is an indispensable skill

for the Kazakh nomads.

Delicate and formless wool fleece is laid upon Chee grass mats,

before the mat was rolled,doused with boiling water, kneaded,and  compressed.

Following  hours of patient craftsmanship,the wool fibres  intertock,

culminating in the dense and durable felt that

can be treasured for generations to come.

而随着牧场的不断缩小以及现代生活的无间断冲击，  

哈萨克族传统羊毛擀毡工艺也成为非物质文化遗产。  

保护这项历史悠久的文化技艺，成为[牧野毡坊]创立的初心。  

我们在传统之上予以创新，让其融入现代日常，  

并研习游牧民族的自然生活哲学，  

愿将游牧文化从草原迁徙至世界更多地方。

Although recognised as an intangible cultural heritage,

the traditional Kazakh felting craft faces the looming threats of 

diminishing pastures and the encroachment of modernity.

Muye Felt Studio emerges as a guardian of this time-honoured craft, 

seamlessly integrating felt into contemporary living, 

while staying true to its heritage.

Rooted in the nomadic philosophy of

harmonious coexistence with nature,

we aspire to unveil this cultural gem to the world from

the vast expanses of the grasslands.

选材上，我们选用澳大利亚合资牧场的100支羊毛 除了羊毛品质极为优秀，因其纤细而更易毡化，

作为穿戴也更为柔软。

所有羊毛的染色也皆由天然植物印染而成 在每个环节遵循游牧民族的自然循环理念

摒弃机械化生产的冰冷与程式化 坚持每件羊毛毡制品皆为手作

We procure 100s grade wool from our China-Australian joint venture ranch.

Celebrated for its exceptional quality,this wool felts effortlessly,

and caresses with unparalleled softness.

We employ natural,plant-based dyes for colouring, 

and every production phase upholds eco-friendly principles cherished by nomadic cultures,

while rejecting the impersonal realm of mechanized mass production.

Each woollen felt is meticulously handcrafted.
